Colton Cassinelli (2018 SS, San Tan Valley, AZ) really impressed at the plate for the Black team. He already had a double and a triple in the game and then stepped to the plate and drilled a line drive HR in his last at bat. He drives the ball to all fields and had impressive at bats all day.
Connor Montgomery (2017 OF, Anaheim Hills, CA) also really impressed for the Green team. He hammered some balls in the game showing good gap power with more to come as he adds strength.
Brandon Posivak (2016 2B, Los Angeles, CA) ran the fastest 60 time in the showcase and tripled in today's game.
Seth Stone (2017 RHP, Encino, CA) started for the Black team and tossed 4 scoreless innings and struck out 4. Fastball was up to 80 mph
Daniel Ritcheson (2017 RHP, Chatsworth, CA) is a very interesting young pitcher. He struck out 5 in 4 innings running his fastball up to 87 mph with more to come. Definitely an arm that needs to be followed closely.
Jamal Evans (2016 OF, Hawthorne, CA) shows good bat speed and smoked a ball down the LF line that went just foul. Bat to watch
Jamal O'Guinn (2017 SS, Fresno, CA) continued to really impress at the showcase knocking out 3 hits today. Ball really jumps off his barrel and he shows big power potential.
Jake Baer (2016 3B, Tarzana, CA) continues to stand out with the bat as he shows good bat speed and just hits balls hard. He also made some nice plays at 3B and shows good feel for the game.
Jake Levey (2018 1B, Los Angeles, CA) and Preston Moebius (2016 SS, Orange, CA) each had 2 hits for the Green Team
