2017 Top Prospects

Amaury Telemaco Jr  RHP - 2017 - Smiths, AL

Telemarco has a very impressive physical frame listed at 6-foot-5, 240 pounds with big time arm strength. His fastball worked easily from a three quarter arm slot up to 90 mph and routinely in the upper 80's. He kept hitters off balance with an impressive curveball at 74 mph.

Kody Gratkowski  MIF - 2017 - Fairhope, AL

Gratkowski is another athlete that impressed with his overall skill set. He posted a 6.82 time in the 60 yard dash with clean fielding actions up the middle. He used a compact, direct hand path with good bat speed and a positive launch angle.

Spencer Lewis  OF - 2017 - Lilburn, GA
Georgia Highlands

Lewis has a highly impressive overall skill set starting with an impressive 6.89 time in the 60 yard dash and a strong arm from the outfield up to 85 mph. At the plate, he showed good power potential with strength through the point of contact and loud barrel ability.

Jordan Hall  RHP - 2017 - Fayetteville, GA
Piedmont University

Hall projects very well physically with a 6-foot-4, 205 pound frame and good athleticism. He works over his front side with a medium, hooked arm action. His fastball worked in the low-to-mid 80's and topped out at 85 mph with good life.

Akira Mitchell  1B - 2017 - Buford, GA

Mitchell showed very sound defensive actions at first base to open up workouts with smooth feeds and receiving skills. At the plate, the switch hitters showed consistent barrel ability with good bat speed from both sides.

Derrick Odom  OF - 2017 - Albany, GA

Odom showed impressive bat speed and strength through the point of contact at the plate. He shifted his weight well to the ball with a mostly line drive swing plane. His gap-to-gap power played well with good leverage through contact.

Drew Pepper  2B - 2017 - Fayetteville, GA

Pepper has a projectable, athletic frame and showed a long, whippy arm action on the mound. He worked over his front side with a fastball that topped out at 84 mph. He kept hitters off balance with four pitch mix with the best of those being his slider.

Ethan Darrow  2B - 2017 - Newnan, GA

Darrow is a high level athlete with impressive bat-to-ball ability. He showed a mostly smooth barrel through the zone with quality hand speed and torqued well through his lower half. He will continue to add power as he adds strength.

Morgan Doss  2B - 2017 - Lilburn, GA

The very lean and slender Doss posted the top 60 time of the event with a very impressive 6.50 time. He showed a quicker release up the middle with very athletic actions through the slow roller. He also pitched and showed a strong arm up to 85 mph and mixed in a curveball at 69 mph.

Dylan Erickson  RHP - 2017 - Hilton Head Island, SC

The projectable primary pitcher showed good arm strength on the mound up to 84 mph. He worked across his body slightly with a longer arm action through the back. He showed good feel for his 11/5 shaped curveball that showed good spin.

Daniel Holley  LHP - 2017 - West Point, GA
Tennessee Tech

Holley has a smaller build, but it didn't stop him from impressing on the mound. He pitched from a high three quarter arm slot with a short, compact arm action. His fastball topped out at 84 mph with good plane to the lower third. He also showed impressive feel for spin with a very sharp curveball.


2018 Top Prospects

Kelvin Smith Jr  SS - 2018 - College Park, GA
Missouri

Smith Jr showed some of the best pure athleticism of any player in the event. He posted a very impressive 6.85 time in the 60 yard dash and threw 83 mph across the infield with smooth actions and a quick transfer. He was no slouch at the plate either with impressive bat and hand speed with power potential.


Free Agents Top Prospects

Sebastian Salado  3B - Free Agents - Santo Domingo, SD DOM

Salado turned in easily the most impressive round of batting practice. He showed effortless raw power that was easily above average with tremendous raw bat speed. He lifted and separated well with torque through his lower half. He also showed good arm strength from the infield up to 85 mph.
