2018 PG Fall Top Prospect National Showcase
Iain Kirby is a 2019 OF/RHP with a 5-9 200 lb. frame from Redmond, WA who attends Eastside Catholic. Compact and stocky frame with some strength present on the build. Ran a 7.68 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, attacks the baseball fielding it with developing hands, full arm action up to a lower arm slot, mostly young actions working through the baseball, topped out at 76 mph from the outfield. Righthanded hitter, sets up with a wide based slightly open stance at the plate, takes a downhill swing plane to the baseball, present raw bat speed, swings with weight out in front, opposite field approach, tools to work with at the plate with some minor refinement needed. Good student.
