Peyton Russoniello is a 2016 3B/RHP with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Sewickley, PA who attends Quaker Valley. Large, lean frame with well-proportioned, athletic build. Ran a 7.04 60-yard dash. Right handed hitter, small bat waggle, easy weight transfer and load backside with small leg lift trigger. Shows solid bat speed, ability to get hands extended and work through contact. Repeatable middle of the field approach with line drive swing plane. Moves well to ball in the infield, gets deep in crouch, could use lower half more in throwing mechanics, but shows good arm strength across the diamond. Also pitches, using compact arm-action to a tight, overhand arm slot. Stays balanced throughout delivery, shows ability to spot fastball to the gloveside. Good feel for his curveball with 12/5 shape and solid depth, late downer action. Shows solid potential on both sides of the ball. Named to Ohio Valley Showcase Top Prospect List. Excellent student.
