Trey Winget is a 2017 OF/C/MIF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Washington, UT who attends Desert Hills High School. Medium build and frame, tremendous athleticism, and room to continue fill out physically and add strength. Posted an incredibly impressive 6.61 time in the 60 yard dash and saw it play in games, aggressively stealing and taking the extra base. Primary outfielder, showed highly impressive arm strength up to 92 mph with tremendous arm speed through the ball. Accurate to the bag and threw with a crow hop. Also worked out from the infield, showed a quick transfer and release, longer arm action, and arm strength up to 86 mph. At the plate, started with a wide base, open stance, high hand set, high back elbow, and a high leg lift timing mechanism. Fires hips well to the ball with a line drive swing plane. Very active barrel with very good raw bat speed. Improved timing will lead to more consistency in swing and drive ability off the barrel. Exceptional student. Named to Top Prospect List.
