Jose Marcano is a 2017 SS/2B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Humacao, PR who attends Petra Mercado Bougart. Strong compact build, pretty mature physically. Right handed hitter, has very good strength in his swing and pro level bat speed, keeps his swing short and simple, repeats his swing mechanics, gap to gap approach and can drive the ball with authority to all fields, hard to imagine him not hitting well at the next level. 6.64 runner, has very good raw arm strength and the athleticism to play all the infield positions, hands are soft and sure at the ball. Talented all around player.
