Josh Nelson is a 2016 RHP/OF with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Pleasant Hill, CA who attends College Park. Tall lanky frame, thin athletic build with room to fill. Pitches from a high three quarters arm slot with a clean arm action that projects well. Good pace to delivery, drifts to first base side a bit but showed good feel for both pitches. Big depth and sharp break on curveball with big velocity range and varied shape to break. Simple swing at the plate, flashed doubles power. Arm plays well in the outfield, good carry to throws, coordinated outfield actions with good body control. Good student.
