Yarom Rodriguez is a 2017 RHP with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from San Juan, PR who attends Internacional Baseball Academy. Strong athletic build, fairly mature physically. Leg tuck delivery, gets his front side open early, medium length arm circle with good quickness and looseness coming through, high 3/4's arm slot creates good angle. Fastball topped at 86 mph and was very consistent at 85 mph for four innings, mostly straight but throws it to spots. Hard 12/6 downer curveball had late bite and tight spin at times and made hitters uncomfortable. Threw a 79-82 mph cutter the last two innings that had consistent off barrel life and was effective. Needs to develop a change up but has three present solid pitches and the ability to use them.
