DeMarcus Evans is a 2015 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-4 245 lb. frame from petal, MS who attends Petal HS. Extra large and thick football build with broad shoulders and some athletic looseness. Simple turn and throw delivery, low effort release, bit cross body and off line on release causing him to miss up glove side often. Fastball topped out at 92 mph, mostly straight, lots of velocity variance. Young secondary pitches, tends to slow arm and drop slot on both curveball and change up and get under curveball. Has the profile and tools to throw very hard one day, development of consistent mechanics and secondary pitches will be key.
