Thomas Larson is a 2017 OF/3B/RHP with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Joliet, IL who attends Families of Faith Christian Academy. Larson has a medium sized frame with some present strength. Defensively he has solid feet to and through the baseball with solid outfield actions. He showed arm strength up to 84 MPH with a long arm action. There's more velocity in there with a lower slot in relation to his torso. He also worked out on the infield with developing actions and developing footwork. At the plate Larson starts with a square stance and uses a high leg lift trigger to start his swing. He has a rotational swing with some strength and lift in his swing. He showed some pop when he squared up the baseball and showed some hitting tools. Larson has some bat speed and some power potential. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a long slinging arm action. He gets some sink and run on his fastball and there's more velocity in there with improved mechanics. Excellent student.
