Nick Caswell is a 2018 SS with a 5-9 130 lb. frame from Englewood, CO who attends Littleton HS. Slender young build, lots of time and room to get stronger. Very good runner, 6.78 in the sixty. Moves through the ball well on defense and has soft hands and good lower half fundamentals, arm works well, makes accurate throws, charges the ball with confidence and balance, has the athleticism to stay in the middle infield. Straight stance at the plate, quiet approach with good balance and shift, high finish to his swing creates some lift, handles the barrel well, showed good recognition on breaking balls and stayed back. Has lots of skills and just needs to grow and get stronger to take the next step. Good student.
