Brayden Wise is a 2016 C/3B/RHP with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Clifton, TX who attends Clifton HS. Medium build with some present strength. Spread set up behind the plate, compact release with a quick exchange, has good arm strength, smooth actions and shows athleticism, 2.01 best drill pop time, 2.03 game pop, also plays the infield. Right handed hitter, limited shift through contact, exaggerated inside swing path, mid to opposite field contact, will open front side early to let hands get through first, line drive swing plane, can use strength better in swing. Also pitched, 3/4's arm slot, medium length arm circle, stays closed well in delivery. Fastball topped at 80 mph, mostly straight, gets occasional 11/5 downer action on his curveball. Good student.
