Joe Reichard is a 2015 3B/RHP, IF with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Lawrenceville, GA who attends St. Pius X. Large, athletic frame with long limbs and a lean, projectable build with room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 7.30 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, fields the ball well out front and stays low, takes short steps to the ball, makes accurate throws across the diamond with nice strength on throws. Also pitched, throws from a three-quarter arm slot with a quick arm coming through the back side. Simple leg raise delivery, creates extension at release and mixes all three pitches well. Fastball topped out at 81 mph with life down in the zone and gets it to both sides. Curveball shows 11-5 life with tighter spin, gets under it a pitch and changeup is a solid offering with fade down in the zone at 73 mph. Right-handed hitter, uses a toe tap trigger for timing, swing shows length but does a nice job getting the barrel through the zone and creates hard line drive contact when squared up off the barrel. Outstanding student.
