Justin Schaff is a 2018 C/OF with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Toms River, NJ who attends Toms River North HS. Recorded a 7.21 second 60-yard dash time. Young frame and build with good present athleticism and room to fill out. Primary catcher who receives well out in front. Quick transfer with a short arm action and tight release. Shows some athleticism and moves well behind the dish. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set and high back elbow. Slightly open frame and shifts weight forward through contact. Flashes some extension out in front of the plate. Leg lift trigger into contact with a longer swing path. Can impact the ball with some strength through the point of contact. Great student.
