Ryan Miller is a 2018 OF/3B/1B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends The Westminster Schools. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and a long, projectable build with room to fill throughout frame. Strong runner, posted a 6.86 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields the ball out front and moves to it with short steps, full arm action through the back and gets on top of throws well, works behind the ball, longer release, showed accuracy to the intended base and works through ball well. Higher arm slot on throws across the infield, short steps moving to the ball, balance while ranging up the middle, accurate throws with nice arm strength across the diamond. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow in the box with an open stance. Pretty short and direct path with hands to the ball, line drive swing plane with feel for the barrel and fluidity to the ball. Gets extended in swing and shows best carry to the middle and pull side, nice bat speed through the zone and fires hips well through swing with some leverage out front. Excellent student.
