Dylan Murphy is a 2017 OF/RHP, 2B with a 5-10 167 lb. frame from McDonough, GA who attends Union Grove. Medium frame with highly athletic, highly projectable frame with room to fill out. Ran very well, posting a 6.70 seconds 60 yard dash time. Sets up to hit from wide-based stance, starts open with front leg, small leg lift trigger with good balance throughout swing. Quick bat on a line drive plane, shows good bat speed with solid barrel control, will unlock more jump off the barrel with better incorporation of lower half into swing. Worked out defensively in the outfield, moves to the ball well and is light on his feet, fields cleanly and works through the ball with good balance and athleticism. Clean arm action with arm speed and projection, throws from low 3/4 slot and was up to 84 MPH from the outfield. Good student.
