Jarod Grimm is a 2016 C/OF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Centennial. Grimm has a medium sized frame with a lean build. Defensively he has a low set up behind the plate with solid footwork on his pop throws. Grimm comes out of the chute well with a longer release and arm strength up to 69 MPH. He showed solid actions in the outfield with some effort on his throws. At the plate, Grimm starts with a square stance and a high hand set. He has an inside out swing and made consistent contact to the opposite field. Grimm made harder contact to the middle of the field and when he got more extension. He has some bat speed and developing hitting tools. Excellent student.
