Bryce Benedict is a 2015 RHP/MIF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Carrollwood Day. Medium, athletic, lean frame with more room to fill out. Ran a 7.22 60 yard dash. Right-handed thrower, works from a high three-quarter arm slot and has a quick, clean arm action. Gets to the plate quickly. Works at 80-81 mph with his fastball with good, late life. Flashes a tight 11-5 curveball with late diving action. Throws it at 68 mph. Also mixes a 71 mph changeup. Good mix of pitches and command of those pitches. Also played the field, shows soft hands and solid arm strength. Has a clean exchange. Bats right-handed, hits well to the middle of the field and flashes gap power. Has a sound game approach. Excellent student.
