Drake Massa is a 2017 MIF/3B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Roswell, GA who attends Blessed Trinity Cath. Large, athletic frame with good strength throughout and good remaining projection on body. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.20 seconds. Hits from wider-based stance, slightly open, with high hand set and high back elbow start. Does a very good job incorporating lower half into swing, really brings his hips with authority and torque. Uses the opposite field consistently when hitting, can spray the ball on a line and has good jump off the barrel when timed up correctly. Worked out defensively in the infield, bends well at the waist and moves to ball well with solid fundamental footwork. Fields clean with good hands, transfers well and shows good arm strength across the infield up to 83 MPH. Good student.
