Max Conway is a 2014 C/1B with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from The Woodlands, TX who attends The Woodlands HS. Strong catcher's type build. Low flexible set behind the plate, clean exchange, stays low blocking and throwing, tends to overstride when throwing and lose balance, solid arm strength, 1.97 best pop time, has tools to keep improving. Right handed hitter, good raw bat speed, upper cut swing plane with high exaggerated finish, tends to cast hands away from body and get long, gets good lower half and backside drive to contact, aggressive swings and looking to hit the ball hard, has power but sometimes at the cost of contact. Good student.
