Kyle Moos is a 2016 C with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Castroville, TX who attends Medina Valley HS. Medium athletic build with good present strength especially in the lower half. 7.28 runner, has athletic movements and very good quickness behind the plate, feet are fast blocking and setting to throw, over the top arm slot with very good raw arm strength, 1.90 best pop time. Right handed hitter, simple inside swing path, well exaggerate hitting the ball opposite field at times, high contact/low power approach, has good timing and tracks the ball well, has the strength to open up his swing and learn to drive the ball with authority. Also pitched, simple delivery mechanics with a pause at the top, loose arm, hides the ball well and has some deception with late energy to the plate, high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball sat in the mid-80's, mostly straight but with some angle to the plate. Quality all around athlete who stands out on defense. Very good student.
