Cody Carroll is a 2016 RHP/1B with a 6-4 175 lb. frame from Mount Dora, FL who attends Eustis HS. Long and lean pitchers build, very projectable physically. Smooth low effort mechanics on the mound, stays balanced and directional, long loose arm action, ball comes out clean and easy from a 3/4's arm slot. Steady mid-80's fastball, good arm side run and sink, works his fastball to both sides of the plate, gets swing/miss on his fastball, lots more velocity in the future as he gets stronger. Nice curveball with good power and tight spin, gets 11/5 depth now, could develop into a hammer as his arm strength grows. Presents a calm and in control presence on the mound. Good student. Named to the Showcase All Prospect Team.
