Joshua Heller is a 2014 1B/RHP with a 6-4 210 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Westbury Christian HS. Extra large frame, angular, some good projection and already very strong looking player. Moves well around first base for his size, good arm strength across the diamond, consistent and steady fielder with good hands. Right-handed hitter, big lift in uppercut swing path, squared the ball up consistently, present power is impressive, more on the way. Balanced, relaxed setup, good extension out front, rotates his lower half well and flashes bat speed. Also pitches, very low effort delivery, some roughness in his arm action behind his hip but otherwise it's smooth. Touched 82 mph on his fastball, secondary pitches not shown extensively. Good student.
