Will Ethridge is a 2016 RHP/1B with a 6-5 195 lb. frame from Lilburn, GA who attends Parkview HS. Extra large frame with long limbs, lean projectable build. Leg lift delivery with knee raise to belt, whippy loose arm-action, gets through path well and works to 3/4's arm slot. Easy, low-effort delivery, stays online, can occasionally spin over frontside. Fastball up to 90 mph, has big life with running action to armside and late sink, especially prominent when located down in zone. Fastball is hard for opposing hitters to square up. Low-80s slider flashes tight late break with occasional late depth. Changeup plays very well off of the fastball, looks similar out of the hand and has nice fading action and dive under the zone. Good student, verbal commitment to Ole Miss. Named to National Showcase Top Prospect List.
