Zachary DeLoach is a 2017 OF/RHP with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Lewisville, TX who attends Hebron HS. Strong athletic build with room for more strength. Left handed hitter, busy load with lots of moving parts, deep hand load, aggressive pull oriented swing, generates very good raw bat speed and looks to drive the ball, will occasionally collapse his back side looking to lift, big power when everything is timed and balanced, battles at the plate. 6.70 runner, athletic actions in the outfield, very good carry on his throws and is accurate, may be able to play centerfield at the next level with his tools and aggressiveness. Also pitched, drop and drive mechanics, showed an interesting arsenal of pitches for a secondary pitcher. Upper 80's fastball is mostly straight, slider was a very good pitch with tilt and biting action, curveball not quite as tight but still a good pitch with 11/5 depth, change up had some split like tumble. Very good all around athlete with some big tools to develop, especially the power. Good student, verbal commitment to Texas A&M.
