Dustin Canales is a 2014 C/3B, RHP with a 5-7 170 lb. frame from Port Lavaca, TX who attends Calhoun HS. Has a medium compact build with good strength. Displays a good set up behind the plate with a short arm action and accurate throws. Has a quick release with good quick feet which helps him block balls well and is a good receiver. Has high hands at the plate with a square stance and an aggressive approach. Has a good eye at the plate can drive the ball, has a level swing with power in his bat. Is an excellent student.
