Billy Cooke is a 2014 OF/SS with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Maitland, FL who attends Trinity Prep. Medium frame, lean and wiry. Aggressive swing, ball carries well off the barrel, good bat speed, line drive plane. Hits from an open stance, leg lift trigger, consistent in-game contact, drove a ball to center that registered at 89 mph off the bat during game action, good extension, accelerates the bat well. Good arm strength, throws carry, high three quarter arm slot, good footwork, moves well. Verbal commitment to Coastal Carolina.
