Connor McClain is a 2010 MIF with a 6'1'', 185 lb. frame from Waterloo, IA who attends Waterloo West HS. Strong athletic build. No stride approach hitting, limited lower half use, good balance, quick hands, generates bat speed, gets long at times, line drive swing plane ball comes off bat hard, should keep improving with the bat. 3B tools defensively, 7.16 runner, some lateral quickness, throws have carry but tends to rush from shortstop, hands are soft enough. Good student, signed with Indiana State.
