Nathaniel Davis is a 2019 C with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Klein High School. Medium build and frame, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a 7.62 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, side saddle start, clean transfer skills, and a tight release. Throws around the bag with raw arm strength. Posted a workout pop time of 2.16. At the plate, started with an even stance and steps in the bucket. Clean and efficient hand path to the ball with a look to elevate the ball. Showed raw bat speed with a deeper weight shift and the start of potential raw power. Will continue to improve at the plate with additional strength. Young player with good offensive upside. Good student.
