Ryan Johnson is a 2015 OF/RHP with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from College Station, TX who attends College Station HS. Outstanding athletic build, plus present strength. 6.86 runner, moves well in the outfield with good routes through the ball, right field arm strength with very good carry, long and loose arm action. Left handed hitter, excellent raw bat speed and power at contact, uses his lower half well to drive his swing, quick direct hand path to the ball at times, swing got longer in games at times as well, showed huge power when everything came together. Also pitched and has high level prospect tools on the mound, easy delivery with good balance over the rubber, tight high 3/4's arm slot, fastball topped out at 94 mph, showed some feel for both a curveball and change up for a inexperienced secondary pitcher. Big tools all over the field. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Texas Christian. Selected for the Perfect Game All-American Classic.
