Declan Doyle is a 2014 1B/OF with a 6-2 214 lb. frame from Iowa City, IA who attends Iowa City West HS Big strong build, hits from an open stance, swing gets a loopy at times. Has a consistent swing plane and keeps inside baseball. Gap to gap approach. Has present strength in body and power will show at times and will improve with adjustments with upper half of body. Defensively, big target at first base, gets in good fielding position, has slower feet but maintains balance on throws to 3rd and 2B. Arm works well with accurate throws.
