Jacob Oaks is a 2016 3B/RHP/MIF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Greer, SC who attends Southside Christian Schools. Medium, young build with room to fill out. Ran a 7.82 60 yard dash. Moves very smoothly to the ball on the infield and arm plays up. Shows a quick release and makes accurate throws across. Bats right-handed, works from a slightly open setup. Shows a line drive swing path and squares the ball consistently. Drives the ball to the gaps. Also took the mound, reaches 83 mph from a high three-quarter arm slot and stays consistently online with his delivery. Shows a quick arm, needs lower half more involved. Live arm with more on the way. Good 11-5 shape on his 67 mph curveball. Varies speeds and throws more a slider shape breaking ball as well. Very good student.
