Ka'iKepono (Pono) Anderson is a 2015 RHP/3B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Pearl City, HI who attends St Louis. Large frame, lean well proportioned athletic build. Pitches from a three quarters arm slot with a long arm action. Crossfire delivery creates deception to hitters and severity to downhill plane coming from the third base side. Quick arm, fastball has late life and plays up a tick beyond mid 80s velocity. Good sinking action on straight changeup, curveball flashes hard bite at times and shows potential with development and could become an out pitch at the next level. Good student. Named to the Sunshine West Top Prospect Team.
