LeVon Washington is a 2009 OF/MIF with a 5'10'', 170 lb. frame from Gainesville, FL who attends Gainesville HS. Washington has some outstanding tools that are tough to match. He has blazing speed, running a 6.21 sixty and his speed plays in games. LeVon has big arm strength from both the infield and outfield as he reaches the low 90's from both spots. He has very good range in the outfield and also shows good feet in the infield. At the plate he has a quick bat with hand strength in swing. He has a line drive swing plane and sprays line drives all over the field. He has verbally committed to the Florida Gators, but could create some strong draft interest. Aflac All American
