Tyler Dyson is a 2016 SS/RHP with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Bradenton, FL who attends Braden River. Tall, strongly built, athletic frame. Ran a 7.28 60 yard dash. Shows sound shortstop actions and excellent raw arm strength. Game actions translate well and has the hands to play up the middle. Moves well laterally. Bats right-handed, uses a high leg kick and gets good extension. Flashes good bat speed and looks to turn on the ball. Has an aggressive approach. Also took the mound, topped at 83 mph from a three-quarter arm slot. Pitches downhill and projects to add velocity. Has a loose arm and generates arm side run. Excellent student. Named to Top Prospect list.
