Quinton McNitt is a 2017 2B/1B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Gainesville, FL who attends F. W. Buchholz HS. McNitt has a medium sized frame with some strength. Defensively he showed developing footwork on the infield and took extra steps to throw. McNitt has developing arm strength with velocity up to 75 MPH and he has a hitch in his arm action. He fields the ball deep and he has developing transfers. At the plate, McNitt starts with a slightly open stance with a crouch. He swings on a level plane and made solid middle of the field contact. McNitt showed some bat speed and has present gap to gap pop. Excellent student.
