Drew Wharton is a 2014 OF/RHP with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Suwanee, GA who attends Peachtree Ridge HS. Tall, athletic outfield with some room to grow. Good runner, ran a 6.93 60 yard. Made on-line throws from the outfield, has above average arm strength and shows good carry. Hits right-handed, works from a squared stance and has a line drive swing path. Gets on his front foot at times, holds his hands low and is very quick to the ball inside. Displays impressive bat speed and has and aggressive approach. Good student. Committed to Clemson.
