Brady Ferguson is a 2018 OF/LHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Krum, TX who attends Krum HS. Medium athletic build with some present strength. 7.18 runner, long and loose arm action with some arm speed, gets good carry on his throws, fields the ball out front with soft hands, can work through the ball better to generate more arm strength. Right handed hitter, moves into contact well, mechanics over bat speed swing from a open and upright stance, inside hand path with the intent to hit the ball to the opposite field. Also pitched, multi-part delivery, high 3/4's arm slot, command and stuff improved from the stretch with simpler repeatable mechanics. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, mostly straight. Curveball has some downer depth to it when thrown at lower velocities, tends to overthrow at times. Flashed feel for a change up. Good student.
