Michael Moore is a 2017 RHP/OF with a 6-5 160 lb. frame from Eugene, OR who attends Churchill HS. On the mound he creates downhill plane with long arm swing, high 3/4 release point has arm speed, finishes out front generating extension. Threw four pitches for strikes; the fastball registered at a deceptive 82 to 84 miles per hour and showed developing arm side run, curveball at 68 had 12/5 arc with sharp depth, changed depths with the slider at 74 miles per hour that showed consistent depth, change up was more of a straight change at 76 that kept hitters off balance. From the outfield he showed a quick arm with carry online to the bag. At the plate he has a tall narrow stance with rhythm in the barrel. Strides forward creating elastic tension, landing in a torqued position, generates bat speed and explosively extends the hips with strength. Good student.
