David Kubiak is a 2007 RHP/1B with a 6'5'', 230 lb. frame from Southold, NY who attends Southold HS. He has a big, tall athletic frame with some present strength and the promise of a lot more in the future. David throws from a low 3/4 arm slot with a short arm action that produces nice sinking action. He shows the making of three solid pitches with a nice straight change-up and a big sweeping curveball. David is very projectable on the mound and should add more velocity in the future. He is a player that should attract attention from many mid-level college programs.
