Riley Carter is a 2019 1B/RHP/OF with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Carlsbad, CA who attends La Costa Canyon HS. Big and strong physical build, prototype first baseman's look. Right handed hitter, strength drive swing with a power approach, aggressive shift into contact, upper body swing, swings with intent and has bat speed and barrel whip, ball comes off the barrel hard with some back spin, power potential definitely there, will get caught on his back side at times and lock his lower half. Solid fundamental actions at first base on defense, fields the ball out front and has good footwork. Ran 6.94 at an early summer PG showcase. Good student.
