Joseph Warner is a 2016 C/OF with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Albany, NY who attends Christian Brothers Academy. Medium-large frame with good strength throughout body, still projects well moving forward. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.45 seconds. Hits from slightly open stance with solid balance, hips rotate heavily and can get offline through swing, very short hand path and ultimate swing path. Keeps hands inside the ball and looks to make contact to all fields. Quick trigger with small stride, brings lower half into swing well, line drive plane with quality overall contact tools. Sets up behind the plate with good balance, a bit higher set, receives with two hands and comes through reception into catch-and-throw mechanics well. Solid footwork with some explosion in lower half. Shorter, quicker arm action with throws to 2B topping at 70 MPH. Popped as low as 2.12 seconds with good accuracy.
