Michael Hoehner is a 2016 C/RHP, 3B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Langham Creek. Medium, athletic frame with a strong build that plays in game. Ran a 7.51 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, receives with a wide base, moves well on feet with both gaining ground on throws and blocking balls side to side, gets on top of throws, smooth transfer, quick arm with strength down to second base. Also pitched, high three-quarter arm slot, uses mostly arm, high leg raise, has quickness to arm action, gets fastball down to both side, topping at 81 mph. Right-handed hitter, starts with a high, live hand set and an even stance. Upper half swing, shows natural lift in bat path, gets the barrel through the zone with bat speed, showed the ability to hit to all fields with intent. Named to South Underclass Top Prospect List. Very good student.
