Logan Carey is a 2016 OF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Jackson, TN who attends University School Of Jackson. Medium frame, lean build, projects well physically. Polished hitter with short compact mechanics, simple well controlled repeatable swing, easy bat speed, good extension, accelerates hands well, power potential with strength development. Creates late lift and leverage in swing and extends well through contact, showed pop to all fields in game at-bats. Good footwork defensively, moves well, long arm action. Excellent student. Named to the Southeast Underclass Top Prospect Team.
