Max Wadsworth is a 2016 RHP/1B with a 6-5 230 lb. frame from Madison, GA who attends Morgan County HS. Extra large build with large hips and broad shoulders. Stays ball on his backside, some drop and drive to his mechanics, stays on line and gets good extension out front, will get to his front side early especially out of the stretch. Fastball up to 83 mph, gets more life at lower velocities, can make the ball move different directions and stays down in the zone well. Nice feel for his curveball, throws it for strikes with good power and occasional depth, better depth when he's on the side for a sweeping shape. Rare change up. Ground ball/command style of pitching. Right handed hitter, good balance in his swing, gets to his front side well from a simple timer, looking to lift and pull, upper half rotational swing, develops good torque and the ball is loud when squared, will drive mistakes up in the zone hard. Good student.
