Mark Rodriguez is a 2015 RHP/ with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends East River. XL-framed prospect with excellent physical projection. Broad shoulders tapered down to athletic torso and lower half. Long limbs with looseness throughout. Long arm action on the mound, was up to 89 MPH on the mound and sat in the 86-89 range throughout entire start. FB has natural heaviness to it, pounding the strike zone with the pitch and missing bats. Showed feel for 3 off speed pitches, of which the CB was best on this day. Thrown in high 60's-low 70's, pitch features sharp 11/5 break with excellent depth and spin, proving to be a bat-missing pitch. Flashed quality feel for slider and change as well; with the slider showing some tilt in the mid 70's and the change showing some fading action in the high 70's-low 80's. Projects very well physically and could throw harder as he matures.
