Andrew Martinez is a 2016 RHP with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Riverside, CA who attends Patriot. Small frame, athletic build. Pitches from an over the top arm slot with a short arm action. Short tailing action to low 80s fastball with decent command. Good vertical depth to curveball which leaves hand on same plane as fastball and has good shape, good fading action on mid 70s changeup as well. Quick bat with a long swing and line drive plane. Good student. Named to the Sunshine West Top Prospect Team.
