Joe Zirolli is a 2015 OF/RHP, 3B, 1B with a 6-3 220 lb. frame from Kennett Square, PA who attends Kennett. Extra-large frame, athletic and strong build. Good athlete, ran a 7.19 60-yard dash. Shows a short and easy arm action on throws from outfield, attacks and works through the ball well, showed arm strength with carry and accuracy on throws. Takes charge in the outfield. Throws from a three-quarter arm slot on the mound, showing a long loose delivery. Fastball topped at 87 mph with arm side run and jumped on hitters. Slider showed sharp break and depth to it at 75 mph. Right-handed hitter, shows a short hand path to the ball, keeps hands in. Raw power in swing with good bat speed and loose wrists. Needs to use more lower half but ball carries well at present when squared. Good student, named to Sunshine Northeast Top Prospect List.
