Austin Hartman is a 2015 2B/SS with a 5-11 145 lb. frame from Visalia, CA who attends Mt. Whitney. Large frame, slender build with a lot of room to fill. Quick hands hitting from a spread stance, handsy swing with a compact path, good balance, pull approach, high contact rate. Solid range defensively, plays deep and waits on the baseball at times and will need to be more aggressive working through the baseball when the game speeds up at the next level but sound defender for this level. Good student.
