Rene C. Palacios Jr. is a 2017 C/3B, RHP with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from La Habra, CA who attends La Habra. Large frame, thick strong build. Long arm action on throws, good direction to stride and footwork in catch and throw mechanics, solid mechanics for age. Long swing at the plate, cuts off extension which prevents his strength from translating into power yet, line drive swing plane. Pitches from a high three quarters arm slot with a long arm action, relies on arm speed to generate velocity and can get more out of lower half. Good student.
